Several PCR tests can be executed on a single platform (RT-qPCR, qPCR, LAMP) and each cartridge can simultaneously test for multiple diseases
The PCR reagents can be preloaded and stored dry for long periods onto our PCR cartridges, therefore we eliminate the need for a cold chain. This also drastically reduces the amount of pipetting steps and therefore increases the reproducibility of the tests.
Thanks to the reduced quantity of reagents, the users can benefit from lower reaction costs. As a result of the smaller size of our reaction chambers, we can successfully perform RT-qPCR with a low amount of reaction mix and therefore generate cost savings.
Our system can achieve exceptionally high heating and cooling rates thanks to the low-thermal-mass sample holder combined with our innovative thermal cycler. As the sample is directly in contact with the aluminum holder, the heat transfer from the heating element to the sample happens in a very short time (as opposed to conventional instruments where the sample is contained in plastic tubes placed in bulky thermal diffusive blocks). We can perform a 42-cycles amplification program in as little as 15 minutes.
diaxxoPod (RUO)
Our in-vitro diagnostic test cartridge based on rapid Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) amplification technology. This cartridge can reliably detect and distinguish the mutants from UK (20I/501Y.V1, B.1.1.7 – VOC-202012/01) as well as the South African mutation (B.1.351 lineage).
The test cartridge is aimed to improve the public health situation by rapidly enabling the detection of variants of concern. The cartridge is designed for qualitative detection of variants of interest of the SARS-CoV-2 Viral RNA in saliva samples and it works in conjuction with diaxxoPCR.
